Location and Service Radius
The green area is the average distance I typically travel for a home birth or to visit a client in-home for prenatal appointments. The purple indicators are hospitals within my normal travel range for a hospital birth. There may be other hospitals in that city that also have labor and delivery services, and I will happily go there too!
If you are interested in services outside of these zones there may be an additional charge for mileage and other accommodations.

My Philosophy
I believe care from a doula should be accessible for all families
As a mother who gave birth while going to school full-time, and serving in the military I know how difficult financial struggles can be, especially when deciding on labor support. Everyone should be able to afford a doula. I offer a sliding-scale fee for families who need assistance, work-for-barter, and a military discount for families with a service member. More information is just an email or call away.
Providing family-centered care
I do not work for a hospital or birth center, I work for YOU! Family-centered care is providing support that is customized for each client and their family. Every family has different needs, desires, and makes different birth choices, and as a birth professional I support all of these aspects in a non-biased and open-minded way. Family-centered care focuses on the family unit to assure the comfort and needs of the client's immediate birth team are met, helping them work together, and assuring everyone has as satisfying of an experience as possible.
There are lots of choices regarding pregnancy, birth, and postpartum out there. It would take someone who has spent years of their life studying them and the local birth scene to be able to help you utilize those options in the way you choose for your birth.
That's where Crowning Achievement Birth Services comes in, because that is what I do!
